Muse project

The Region, in reference to the sustainability, through the regulations issued by DPReg 099/Pres./2011, has given effect to Article 16 of Law 14/2010, providing for contributions awards for projects of industrial research experimental development, innovation and technology transfer, development of systems for individual mobility aimed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

It is in this scene that the project proposal sets itself and will allow the dissemination of a model of more efficient electric vehicle in a market such as the one of the electric cars, rapidly growing. It will be a driving force for future innovation activities related to the charging of electric vehicles,to the distribution area, to the monitoring of performance and to issues related to mobility.

The ultimate goal of this project is to create a solution for an electric vehicle efficient and effective for sustainable urban mobility. The project will then develop new knowledge about greater electrical efficiency, reliability, usability and safety of the vehicle. The proposed design will develop electronic systems and software for the control and management of vehicles and for interfacing the same with the outside world. Solutions will be also developed for the power supply and battery charging systems designed to maximize energy efficiency.

Therefore, the purpose of the activities of the project is to make available to the social and productive system a set of new knowledge that will achieve ecologically sustainable mobility solutions at zero-impact, more efficient and usable; a system of technologically innovative solutions that lead to greater exploitation and widespread use of electric vehicles for mobility in urban centers. In the scenario described above, the project aims to study and then develop a set of electrical, electronic, mechanical technologies and vehicle management for the construction of small size electric vehicle, all-electric, ideal to offer a new service of public mobility regulated by the laws in force regarding environmental issues.
